So I read someplace that every minute you spend organizing or planning it saves ten minutes later.
I believe that in most cases. When Stephanie and I make kids lunches on the weekend throwing them in the lunch box throughout the week is way easier than pulling everything out nighly and making it.
On my way to get organized Stephanie has introduced me to a family binder… how fun is this? So you make a binder that has all the important things you need for the week. Not only for you but for your kids. So of course I had to go online and find out more about it
Some pages I found helpful; found on Pinterest of course.
My favorite is the daily page. I took ideas and created one that would work for Aiden and I.
I have one for every day. This is my Sunday

I put them in plastic paper covers so I could write on them with dry erase markers.
Makes it so I can erase and use them for the next week.
I also created dinner cards that have the recipe on them, laminated and put a Velcro on the back. I can then figure out my weekly menu and Velcro the recipe to the day we will have it on. No more looking for the recipe or what I need for it.
I hope this has inspired you to make your own family binder. I am now working on the rest of the things, monthly calendar, shopping list, budget, kids IDs, phone numbers, etc. I will post as I make them!
